Built by a Print Shop Owner for Real-World Apparel Design
Hello, my name is Forrest Wedmore. I’m the creator of TinkerTee and the founder of The Foundry Print Shop in Seattle, Washington.
TinkerTee was built to be an online t-shirt designer and custom apparel design tool for people who want an easier way to create shirts, hoodies, and other printed garments without needing expensive design software or advanced design experience. After more than 25 years in the garment industry, I felt it was time to create a shirt designer online that was more creative, more practical, and more useful for real-world apparel production.
Why I Created TinkerTee
For years, I wanted a t-shirt design maker that my customers, friends, and I could actually use to design your own shirt, test ideas, and turn inspiration from across the web into real apparel. TinkerTee was created to make custom shirt design easier, faster, and more accessible for everyone, whether you are building a one-off idea, preparing a brand launch, or developing production-ready artwork for a print shop.

Large national online t-shirt printing platforms may seem convenient, but they often come at the cost of quality, communication, and community support. TinkerTee is meant to help people create custom apparel online while making it easier to work with local print shops that care about the final result.
